Hello, my friends! It has been quite some time since my last post and I feel like a whole world of things has happened since then.
For one, I bought a Sewing Machine and started sewing around early December time and as any sewing enthusiast will likely tell you: the desire to sew is something that grips your soul with an iron fist! It's awesome fun and is so incredibly rewarding, especially when you get it right, but it does seem to consume me when I get focused on a project. I've developed more of a balanced approach to it since Christmas holidays and being back at work means I have less time to do it, but it was a big part of the reason I was distracted from the blog.
What else? I joined the gym in December also. I know, I know...it's not really the time of year when most people consider starting up brand new hobbies and commitments. For some reason though, it felt right. I've been seeing a fantastic Physio since September when I severely sprained my ankle at Soccer practice and it's fair to say, it's one of the best things I've ever done. I got so used to strength training and workouts that I decided to join the gym so that I could keep it up. It's been AMAZING! I've been going 5 times a week since being back after Christmas holidays and I'm such a huge fan of it. I do alternating strength training and cardio days, with two active rest days a week to do some Yin Yoga or go for a walk in the Summer sunshine. I'll be doing a more detailed post on this soon so stay tuned!
"And what about resolutions?" I hear you say. I'll be following up this post with another about my take on resolutions shortly but suffice it to say, I don't have any. Yep you heard that right, none! Nada!
